The Meridian Police Neighborhood Watch Program has a new group

The Meridian Police Neighborhood Watch Program has a new group starting that’s named the New Life Community Neighborhood Watch Group formed by residents living in Northwest Meridian. The New Life Community Neighborhood Watch Group has a Neighborhood Watch Meeting scheduled Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 6:00pm at the New Life Community Church formerly known as Life Baptist Church located at 3000 State Boulevard. The meeting is opened to the public and residents living in the area near the New Life Community Church are encouraged to join this group and take part in helping to reduce crime in your neighborhood and across the community.

In an effort to kick off the new group to a great start, the Meridian Police Department Crime Prevention Unit Officers will meet with residents and volunteers Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 10:00 am at the New Life Community Church parking lot located at 3000 State Boulevard to canvass the neighborhood and distribute meeting announcements to the area residents in an effort to promote participation in the New Life Community Neighborhood Watch Group. For more information, contact the Meridian Police Crime Prevention Coordinator Lt. Rita Jack at (601) 513-6916.
