Breaking News Pedestrian Struck on Hwy 493

Avoid Hwy 493 to Windsor Road this Morning.

A Pedestrian was struck a few minutes ago on Hwy 493 at Windsor Road. MHP, Metro, and local VFD are on the scene. 493 will be shut down from the city limits to Buntin Gunn Road so that emergency vehicles can get in and out. If you are coming out of Meridian use hwy 39 or Poplar springs road , if in the Bailey area turn at Dogwood Lake Road to avoid the congestion. More to follow as information becomes available.
