6 year old Murdered in Drive-by Shooting in Hattiesburg

Sunday the Hattiesburg Police Department responded to a shooting call just after 10 pm in the

300 block of Willis Avenue. Once on the scene officers found three people who had been shot inside the home.

A 6-year-old male, who later succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital.

A 5-year-old female, who was critically injured.

A 20-year-old male, who was critically injured.

Attached is photo released from the HPD that is believed to be the vehicle involved in the shooting , a dark blue four-door passenger car. Hattiesburg Police need the public’s help in locating this vehicle in connection to the investigation.
